CIBC Mellon – is the custodian of the assets of both the Pension & Health & Welfare Plans. Their role is to hold our investments in their safekeeping, and make payments from the plans based on the Trustees' written request. George & Bell Consulting  – is the actuary and consultant on the Pension Plan. They calculate the financial position of the Plans and make recommendations to the Trustees as to whether contribution and premium rates need to be changed. They also inform and advise the Trustees and the Plan Administrator on trends and changes in the industry, and in the legislation that governs the Plans. Phillips Hager & North – is the investment advisor that manages the bond portion of the Pension Plan and the whole investment portfolio for the Health & Welfare Plan. They were founded in Vancouver in the early 60's, and operate as an independent investment manager under the RBC umbrella of companies.
