CIBC Mellon – is the custodian of the assets of both the Pension & Health & Welfare Plans. Their role is to hold our investments in their safekeeping, and make payments from the plans based on the Trustees' written request. Mercer – is the actuary and consultant on the Plan. They calculate the financial position of the Plans and make recommendations to the Trustees as to whether contribution and premium rates need to be changed. They also inform and advise the Trustees and the Plan Administrator on trends and changes in the industry, and in the legislation that governs the Plans. Phillips Hager & North – is the investment advisor that manages the bond portion of the Pension Plan and the whole investment portfolio for the Health & Welfare Plan. They were founded in Vancouver in the early 60's, and are now one of the largest and most well regarded investment firms in Canada. We hired them in December 2003, and they have earned excellent returns for the Plans ever since. Their website is: www.phn.com .

Green Shield Canada – is the carrier who handles our Dental and Extended Health claims. Their role is to ensure that the claims they pay out meet the terms of our Plan and that the claims are made by valid Plan members. For more info see: www.greenshield.ca .

BC Life – is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Blue Cross. They administer both our short and long term disability claims. Is also the insurance company we have contracted with to provide our Group Life Insurance and AD&D benefits, as of January 2012.

Creative Therapy Consultants – is the Kelowna based firm of occupational therapists who work with H&W Plan members who are on short or long term disability. Since this relationship started in September 2002 our members have received better, more timely and helpful service, and the Plan has experienced a significant reduction in our disability costs.
